Why a Siberian cat?

Before we got the first Siberian of ours I read a lot about cats, breeds etc., I inquired and browsed webpages of different catteries ... It was to be a cat that is independent, but wants to cuddle as well. A cat that would not harm our 6 month old baby. A cat which would be for us a substitute of a dog ...

And that’s how we chose Siberian, which suprised us positive in every single aspect of his character. The more I read about this breed the more often I thought seriously about cattery.

Learning the pattern of breed, its genetics, basics of breeding - all this started to fascinate me. I didn‘t know yet that cattery is not only a joy, but is also associated with troubles in making decisions. It’s a double responsibility for our cats.

Today being guided by principles, clear conscience, reliable knowledge and experience I am able to breed and raise healthy and happy cats. Cats, that bring lots of pleasure to their new owners.

What a Siberian should be?

Standards are different, although similar to each other. An ideal Siberian for me is that of strong, tight physique; beautiful green, slightly slanting eye; fur, which composes with nature – real forest cat, a child of Tundra. A cat which commands respect and at the same time has a trust and love in his look.

In our cattery we have currently 8 cats. Although not every of them live by us in our home. Our cattery is a home cattery. Our cats live with us sharing the whole flat, they are neither isolated nor closed. They have every single corner at their’s disposal

Thanks to that our cats and kittens are trusting, they are not afraid of any everyday’s life sounds, they simply need a men to be close.

I love Harley laying on a kitchen table top, Hania observing everything from the upper shelfs, Daimona following us at every single step, just like a most faithful dog…I cannot imagine myself our home without cats, neither me nor my family…
